Cape Cod Youth Flag Football is an NFL Flag League based in Barnstable Massachusetts. CCYFFL is for BOYS & GIRLS, Kindergarten thru 8th Grade and is open to players of all abilities. Our goal is for the players in the league to have FUN while learning some of the basics of football, team work and sportsmanship in a safe atmosphere.

• Member of the NFL Flag Program
• Official NFL Flag Football Rules
• Family atmosphere in a positive environment
• 9  Week Fall  Season (August 27th  – October 29th)
• Games at Barnstable United Elementary School 
• Game Days are on Saturdays (No mandatory practices but coaches may hold practices)
• 3 Divisions... K-2nd Grade, 3-5th Grade, 6-8th Grade
• Games played between 9am and 12pm (Youngest to 0ldest) 
• Players receive an Official NFL Flag Jersey and Flag Belt
• Players must wear mouth guards while on the playing field 
• Cleats are recommended but not mandatory
• Glasses or goggles must be worn with a head strap
• No head gear, hats, bandanas etc. 
• Game jerseys must be tucked in

At Cape Cod Youth Sports/Cape Cod Youth Flag Football, our goal has always been to provide our community’s youth with safe, fun and competitive sports activities.

• Open to all kids on Cape Cod
• Safe, Fun, Positive, and Competitive
• NFL Sublimated Jerseys (includes flag belt)  
• Divisions: PK-2nd, 3-5th, 6-8th 
• Games on Saturdays (9am and 1pm, youngest to oldest)
• **NEW** Evaluation for team placement (All registered players will be placed on a team)
• Evaluation Day - 8/27
• Jersey Day/Orientation - 9/10
• Regular season - 9/17-10/15 
• Playoffs: 10/22-10/29
• Parent coaches will coach their children
• Siblings will be on the same team
• All other team placements based on evaluation

Practices:
Practices are not mandatory per the league. Some coaches my schedule practices, some may not

Equipment:
Mouth Guards are mandatory at all times while on the field
*Sold at the field for $4
Shorts or Sweatpants are permitted
No head gear including hats, headbands or bandanas
Eyeglasses are permitted only with a strap
Cleats or sneakers are permitted
Gloves are permitted
